The Peggy Fleming Collection consists of records, photographs, and objects. It documents the commercial life in Chevy Chase, Washington, D.C., in the beginning of the 21st century, the Fourth of July activities between 3817 Jocelyn Street and 39th Street NW from 1970 to 1980s, the vascular plants in the District of Columbia in 1980s, the women she interviewed for her book In Her Place, the Ben W. Murch Elementary School building and grounds, and Fleming's career at the National Park Service and her interests in politics, especially the 1960s.
